Q What happens if I don't have an
outcome for my three Individual
Objectives (e.g. because I'm on a
leave of absence)?
In line with our Reward principles of being Simple
and Fair, missing Individual Objective outcomes
will be defaulted to target, i.e. 3.33% for each.
Line managers and People teams have discretion
to make adjustments where this isn't appropriate,
with approval from the People Director.
Q How much of the Annual Bonus is
deferred and for how long?
This depends on your Work Level, please see page
5 for more information. If you change Work Level
during the bonus year, both the cash and shares
elements of your award will be calculated on a prorated
basis, in line with the time spent at each
Work Level. The whole of the share element will be
deferred in line with the deferral period set for
your Work Level at the end of the 2021/22 bonus
year, 26 February 2022.
Q When will I receive my Annual
Bonus award?
You'll receive a letter after the bonus outcome has
been approved confirming your award. The cash
element will be paid around May/June, in line with
local timelines and, if you´re a WL4+ colleague,
your share award will be made in May 2022. Share
awards for colleagues at WL3 will be made in June
2022.

Q I am a WL3, what will happen with
my bonus shares?
Colleagues at WL3 will have their shares awarded
in June 2022 and the shares will be released
immediately on the award date.
Before then, you´ll be able to choose if you wish to
keep the shares or sell them immediately on release.
Instructions on how to do this will be emailed to you
by Equiniti, our share plans administrators, after
you´ve received confirmation of your bonus value in
May 2022.
Q When will I be able to sell shares
deferred from previous bonus
awards?
Any shares awarded from a previous bonus will
continue to be deferred until their original released
date. You will be able to sell them on or after the
original release date.
